Right-handed pitcher Jose Fernandez is expected to be back on the mound for Miami by next month, according to USA Today.
The 22-year-old has been out since since early in the 2014 season with a right elbow injury that required Tommy John surgery last May. He won the 2013 NL Rookie of The Year award and made the All-Star team in his first MLB season.
Fernandez is on the 60-day DL.
