NFL Media says the backup quarterback flew to Houston expecting to be the starter, and ESPN stated plainly Hasselbeck will start. It will be the 40-year-old’s second consecutive start filling in for Andrew Luck.

The former No.1 overall pick has been dealing with a sore throwing shoulder, but the Colts had planned for him to play Thursday. Another week of limited practice apparently revealed Luck isn’t yet ready.
The team re-signed backup Josh Johnson on Wednesday.
Hasselbeck is listed as questionable this week, as he’s dealing with an illness. And according to ESPN, it’s no minor cold.
