On Thursday afternoon, Kemp posted a heartfelt thank you letter to the Dodger nation.
Kemp leaves Los Angeles after spending all nine of his MLB seasons with the club.

In 2011, he was the NL MVP runner-up, losing to the Brewers’ Ryan Braun, who later was suspended by MLB for testing positive for elevated levels of testosterone. That left many to believe Kemp should have been named MVP in Braun’s place.
