“(Stonie) deserved to win,” Chestnut said after the contest. “It gives me a reason to definitely come back next year. I’ve been looking for competition for a while, and now I have it. He made me hungry.”

On the women’s side, Miki Sudo, the No. 4 ranked eater in the world according to Major League Eating, captured back-to-back titles by eating 38 hot dogs in 10 minutes. It was an impressive performance from Sudo after finishing 34 dogs last year.

Of course, she had to take a selfie after her victory.
