Mayweather is still the heavy favorite (-375) over McGregor (+285), according to Bovada.
In order to win $1,000 from the fight, you would have to put $3,750 dollars on Mayweather. For the same $1,000 payoff, you would only have to put down $350 on McGregor.
For some, a $1,000 payoff isn’t nearly enough. There have already been much steeper bets placed on the fight. People are betting hundreds of thousands of dollars, in some cases even millions, on the outcome.
As the best outright boxer of this generation, the odds heavily favor Mayweather. However, while McGregor isn’t a legitimate boxer, he’s a fighter, and he will do whatever it takes to defend all of his trash talking leading up to Saturday night’s showdown.
