Spieth will stay in his home state of Texas, and opens at odds of 5-to-1 to win his third tournament of this season. Since winning The Masters in early April, Spieth has calmed down with 11th- and 17th-place finishes, followed by not making the cut at The Players Championship. The betting market expects different results at the Crowne Plaza Invitational in Ft. Worth this week. Spieth is a -150 favorite vs. Zach Johnson in a matchup prop.
Rory, meanwhile, is set to tee it up across the pond at the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth Cub in the London outskirts. McIlroy’s dominance brings back memories of Tiger Woods in his prime. He has two wins in his last three events, as well as top 10s at The Masters and The Players. He opens as the 5-to-2 favorite to win at Wentworth.
