Whatever. A couple years ago, Meek released some mixtapes bearing the title “Philadelphia Eagles.” Personally speaking, that raised the question, “When do we get ‘Philadelphia Flyers?”

It’s here. So is the artwork. And the artwork is great.

We’re getting in the weeds here, but it’s worth noting Meek and labelmate Wale feuded over the summer; Meek called Wale a cornball for not supporting his projects, words were exchanged and Ross had to get involved. Things are apparently OK now.

The point of this: Wale is a D.C.-area guy and, specifically, name-checked Alex Ovechkin (and Eric Lindros!) back on 2008’s “The Mixtape About Nothing.”

So MMG has two avowed hockey fans on the roster. It’s turning into Metropolitan (Division) Music Group. Maybe French Montana can talk about the Rangers or something.
