The numbers drawn Tuesday night were 14, 22, 48, 58 and 68 for the white balls, while the yellow Mega Ball was 6 and the Megaplier was 2x.
Tuesday night’s 12/13/2022 Mega Millions jackpot was worth $400 million, with a cash-value option worth $217.8 million.
There was no grand prize winner on Tuesday, so the jackpot for Friday 12/16/22 will increase to $429 million, nor were there any tickets sold that matched all the white balls as well as the Mega Ball for the game’s second prize of $1 million.
A group of 18 people picked the numbers on four white balls as well as the Mega Ball, for which each won $10,000, with five of those ticket holders each winning the Megaplier prize of $20,000. Four hundred eight people matched four white balls, winning them each $500, with ninety-three of them each winning the Megaplier prize of $1,000. The game also saw 1068 winners who matched three white balls and the Mega Ball, each winning $200, with 272 of those ticket holders each winning the Megaplier prize of $400.

Mega Millions is a multi-state lottery, and it is one of America’s two biggest lottery jackpot games. Mega Millions jackpots start at $20 million, and other prizes pay from $1 million to $2 million or more with a Megaplier.
Mega Millions drawings take place every Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m. ET. Five white balls are drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 through 70, while one yellow Mega Ball is drawn from balls numbered 1 through 25. You win if the numbers on your lottery ticket match the numbers of the balls drawn on that date.
Mega Millions tickets cost $2 per play. If no one wins the jackpot prize, the money is added to the top prize for the following drawing.
Most states offer a Megaplier option, which costs an additional $1 per play and increases non-jackpot prizes by two, three, four or five times. Before each Mega Millions drawing on Tuesdays and Fridays, the Megaplier is drawn from a pool of 15 balls. Five of these balls are marked with 2X, six with 3X, three with 4X and one with 5X.
