Inside, the dash has a new polyurethane skin that feels like really soft rubber. I also liked the optional automatic rear-window sunshade. But while the back seat got an extra two inches over last year’s model, it’s still not what you’d call roomy. And my 6-foot-1 husband repeatedly hit the door-mounted window button with his knee, causing the window to roll up or down without his consent. But I’ve got an answer for that. Just go solo. Crank down the windows, crank up the stereo, tap the pedal and enjoy your sexy self.
Tip: For $6,050 less, it’s a better deal than the CLK convertible.
