Before their game against the Angels on Saturday, they welcomed the Bay Area’s very own Metallica to AT&T Park for one of the coolest renditions of the national anthem you’ll ever hear.

Just listen to them jazz up the “Star-Spangled Banner” like you’ve never heard before.
If that wasn’t enough, drummer Lars Ulrich threw out the first pitch and sang along with the crowd to “Take Me Out To the Ballgame” during the seventh-inning stretch.
The group also teamed up to film a commercial to unveil the Giants’ new black jerseys as an homage to the incredibly popular “The Black Album.”
We need more than just one “Metallica Day” a year, Giants.
