The sides have agreed to a four-year, $25 million contract that includes a fifth-year option worth $11 million, according Paul Hoynes of The (Cleveland) Plain Dealer.

CBSSports.com's Jon Heyman has the particulars:

Brantley, 26, represents the final return on the Tribe's trade of CC Sabathia to the Milwaukee Brewers in 2008. Last season Brantley set career highs in games (151), home runs (10), RBIs (73) stolen bases (17). He also did not make an error in 268 total chances.

The deal will run through all of Brantley's arbitration years and could extend through his first two free-agent years.
