The “Texas-size thank you” ad appeared on the back cover of the Dallas Morning News’ College Football Playoff preview section. Of course, Michigan State was thanking the Dallas area for its hospitality during the Cotton Bowl, which the Spartans won 42-41 in an instant classic over Baylor.
The irony of this ad appearing the day before Oregon and Ohio State face off is too much to pass off as a mere coincidence. It looks more like an expert troll job.
