The ring sure looks nice. It includes the title of the bowl game, the score of the game, and … hey wait a minute. Is that the score of the Michigan game?

If you notice in the bottom right photo the score of the team’s game against in-state rival Michigan is listed on the team’s Cotton Bowl ring. The Spartans defeated the Wolverines in a blowout, 35-11.

Michigan State spokesperson John Lewandowski confirmed to MLive.com that all rings have a “personal touch” and that sometimes includes game scores from the regular season.
Michigan fans took to Twitter to express their feelings on the ring. Let’s just say they’re not fans of the idea.
