Michael Adams was awaiting trial after he was charged with killing 17-year-old Elijah Al-Amin at a Circle K store in Peoria in July 2019. The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office launched an investigation after Adams was found unresponsive by his cell at the 4th Avenue Jail in Phoenix on April 17, reported ABC Arizona. A cause of death is yet to be determined. Police said Adams had approached Al-Amin inside the store and stabbed him in the neck, before fleeing on foot....
