Greene, of Georgia, praised her incoming GOP colleague for supposedly “being honest with his district now” in a series of tweets attacking Democrats on Tuesday. Santos has admitted to never working for finance companies Citigroup and Goldman Sachs or graduating from college with multiple degrees, as he had claimed while campaigning. Santos defended the lies as merely “embellishing” his résumé in an interview with the New York Post. He has also said that he “never claimed to be Jewish,” insisting that he had only claimed to be “Jew-ish” in the past....

Greene previously made clear in public statements that she would support the end of Ukrainian military aid should Republicans make significant gains in the midterm elections. House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy echoed her sentiments, stating that funding would cease under Republican leadership. In statements reported by Axios, the Georgia congresswoman said that money should be kept to solve domestic issues, specifically citing the Southern border. “Under Republicans, not another penny will go to Ukraine,” Greene said at a Trump rally in Iowa earlier in November....

Speaking to Real America’s Voice’s Prime Time with Dr. Gina Loudon, Greene repeated her controversial remarks in which she accused GOP senators Mitt Romney, Lisa Murkowski and Susan Collins of being “pro pedophile” because they announced they were going to vote to confirm President Joe Biden’s pick for the Supreme Court. After once again making the same accusation while appearing on the show, Greene listed off a number of other issues raised by the GOP in order to attack those on the left, and those who support Jackson, including Disney’s rebuke of the so-called “Don’t Say Gay” bill in Florida....

During her December 1 interview on The Jenna Ellis Show, Greene said that she did not have to “compromise” anything to back the California representative to become Speaker of the House when Republicans take over the chamber in January. Greene was asked by Ellis, a lawyer for Donald Trump, if there was any “give and take” between the pair for McCarthy to get the backing from the MAGA congresswoman. Ellis also asked Greene whether she shared concerns from some factions of the GOP that McCarthy is a “RINO [Republican in name only]” who will not follow through with his promises....

Pelosi moved forward with the creation of the committee after Republicans blocked an effort to establish an independent commission to investigate the Capitol riot. House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy hasn’t announced if he’ll appoint any Republicans to the committee, but putting Republicans loyal to former President Trump could help the GOP’s effort to push back on efforts to blame the former president for the riot. “The Republicans assigned to the J6 committee should be the toughest fighters that will stand up to Pelosi’s witch-hunt 2....

New Bulls forward Bobby Portis ended up apologizing for tweets he had once typed about his new teammate Derrick Rose and Pau Gasol. Also, new Lakers forward Larry Nance Jr. had a regrettable tweet about his new teammate Kobe Bryant. And it doesn’t sound like the Mavericks owner thinks Jordan’s decision to remain with the Clippers is going to end well. The move, first reported by ESPN, is Cuban’s way of rewarding the veteran for his services to the team. Last month, the Mavericks signed Barea to a one-year contract worth the veterans minimum of $2.6 million. The deal took the number of players on guaranteed contracts on the roster to 16, one more than the NBA allows during the regular season. According to ESPN, however, Dallas had already planned to release Barea when they signed him last month and the one-year deal was Cuban’s idea to reward the 36-year-old, who has spent 11 of his 14 seasons in the NBA with the Mavericks after joining the franchise as undrafted rookie in 2006....

Jackson, the ABC/ESPN broadcaster, does not want to see the kids trying to emulate Curry’s shooting ability. Apparently, more kids working on 3-point shooting would be bad for the game.
