Greene, a Republican representing Georgia’s 14th congressional district, sparred publicly with Dingell, a Democrat who represents Michigan’s 12th congressional district after the House of Representatives passed pro-abortion legislation. The representatives later took to Twitter and apparently continued arguing about the incident, with Greene once again criticizing abortion as “killing babies” and calling Dingell a “joke.” Dingell shared a tweet on Friday from Scott Wong, senior staff writer at The Hill newspaper, that featured a video of the incident at the Capitol....

The poll found that 18 percent of the 1,986 registered voters surveyed have a favorable opinion of Greene after she was stripped of her committee positions, compared with 13 percent before the Republican congresswoman’s removal from those posts. The boost in favorability was larger among Republican voters. Before she was removed from her committee seats, 19 percent of Republicans surveyed favored Greene. Her favorability among Republicans has since grown by 11 points to 30 percent....

Greene named the members in a public letter after her fourth attempt to prematurely adjourn the House. In the letter, she referred to the stimulus bill as “the $1.9 trillion Blue State Bailout.” “For the past year, most of America has been closed. If any place in America needs to close, it is Congress,” her letter stated. “Every day that the House of Representatives is open is another day with the Democrats’ progressive wish list shoved down our throats,” Greene continued....
